Today we came home to this rude awakening:
Not that we had gone far enough to escape the snow, but we didn't have to shovel any walks or go anywhere we didn't feel like going in it. (See that shoveled walk? That was actually done by our generous neighbor with his snow blower. I hope he never moves, and I am doing my best to stay on his good side!)
But thank goodness my kids have a father who handles winter much better than their mother does. He actually plays with them in this stuff!

The picture of your "rude awakening" is gorgeous! How beautiful all the white snow looks on your house. And your house is everyone's dream house. Sorry about all the snow, but it really is picturesque.
My kids have been complaining about the lack of snow this year. Enjoy! And I will be content with less wet messes to clean up! They are going up to Snoqualmie on New Year's in search of snow.
wow how did they make those igloo "bricks"? so cool. I like the snow...for about 2 days. If we don't get it at all though I'm bummed. Still hoping here in the south.
Brandi-
The bricks were made using a cheap red plastic snow brick form purchased from WalMart. Maybe your Walmart doesn't carry those, though.
