Post Holiday Blues

I just realized I need to start using my new calendar.

I'm in denial.

I don't want to go back to the routine life tomorrow.

The countdown to summer begins NOW.

That's great that you're looking forward to summer break. Honestly, Cole's winter break was a little exhausting for me--I forgot how hard it is to entertain the kiddos all day with no nap for me. Consequently, I'm a little scared of summer break. Isn't that awful?

The countdown to Spring Break is shorter :)

I feel your pain. I was just looking at the new calendar-thinking of what needs to be done this week and dreading getting back to real life tomorrow. Only 5-1/2 months to go!

I mean 6-1/2 for me. Hopefully less for you. I'm already trying to cut off a month.

It still looks mostly like Christmas here (except we did get the tree taken down today - past dead and needles everywhere!!). You can come and help put nativity sets away. :)

i hear you my long lost friend! I'm hunkered down operating only in 'safe mode' at present. January just bites. ouch... and I've been so lucky health wise the past couple of yrs... but not this Christmas season. - flat down 4 days solid - so so out of it... and thinking only of the warm tropical Guate trip that was to have been... (plan changed when the Kokster's 16 yr stint as a state employee ended the first of Nov) ~ But all was NOT lost... you know me! I finally rose from my sick bed, and jammed my heart out doing Beatles drums and vocal harmonies w/ my Peeps! Hey, speaking of which -- Bec, you gotta come over for our Beehive Beetles night in a few wks. SIX players on each song... Rock on... 'Twist & Shout' and 'Here Comes The Sun' are my current fav fun drum beats. And yours?
