Independence Day 2009
began with a neighborhood celebration.

Doug and Emily ran the mile.

Then all the girls joined the parade.
Olivia's chariot was pulled by Katelyn.

Hannah relished riding on the "royalty float".

Emily and Lauren decorated and rode their bikes.

And then, there was this awesome family bbq...
Wow! I want to move to your neighborhood. How cool. Their floats and outfits are so cute.
wow! i wish we had this...we just went to the beach..hummm...wanna switch for a day?
I love your pictures from the 4th! It looks like you had a great holiday!
We sat under a makeshift pavilion in a mosquito-ridden campground in Wyoming as hail pelted everything in sight. Then attempted to dry off all of our tents and equipment to pack them up.
I know, you're jealous.
Glad you guys had fun celebrating the 4th! I have such fond memories of neighborhood floats and parades on the 4th growing up. Glad people are still doing fun things like that for kids.
