According to Hannah...

"Princesses don't have to wear shirts."

And these are called "big girl diapers":

She likes to wear them, although thankfully she doesn't use them for anything. She just knows where to place them. This is what I noticed when she came downstairs as I was hosting my Visiting Teachers:
And what I found upstairs in the bathroom after they left:
Any suggestions on how to explain maxi pads to a 3-year-old?!

Looks like she's got them all figured out to me - I'd just leave well enough alone!

Hannah displaying her "big girl diapers" to the visiting teacher reminds me of the time when Kobe had finally been potty trained and was so proud of his Bob The Builder briefs that he had to show them off to anyone who came over. One day an old high school friend of Gerb's shows up at the house and as Kobe comes racing into the room trying to get his jeans pulled down to display his drawers, he inadvertently pulled his drawers to his ankles too. Gerb's high school friend was introduced to Bob The Builder and Peter, Kobe's buddy.
