They're Watching You

I don't know about you, but I am always curious to see what kind of coupons I receive when I check out at my local grocery store. Depending on what I buy, this machine automatically prints coupons for me to use on my next purchase. Like when I bought some baby food recently, it printed out a coupon for 50 cents off my next baby food purchase. Makes sense, right?

But once in a while, I get a coupon that seems random. For example, one time the machine printed a coupon for 2 free movie theater tickets. That was pretty sweet. And I'm not sure what I did to deserve that. But I enjoyed that coupon.

The other day I got a surprise that wasn't quite so pleasant, though. That dumb machine printed off a coupon for $10 off a purchase of $25 or more at "CATHERINE'S PLUS SIZES".

What did I buy to deserve that?!

That machine was thinking, "Dang! She's on her 2nd kid since she's been shopping here... she's gotta be a whale!"

Good thing you've got them fooled. Maybe they should install cameras, too - then you'd get a coupon for a place like "Hot Topic" because they'd think you were a early-20's hot mama!
